About The Position

Medical City Las Colinas is hiring a full-time Cardiac Cath Lab Tech for a day-shift position requiring call coverage. The technologist works alongside physicians and colleagues to deliver care during cardiac procedures, using advanced cath lab technology and supporting patients and families throughout their care. The role includes helping ensure precision, safety, and quality of care during treatment.

Requirements

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
High school graduate or GED.
One year of experience required.
Must hold one of the following credentials: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer (RT), or Radiography (ARRT-R).

Responsibilities

Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
Prepare and support patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
Operate and maintain advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
Monitor patient responses with vigilance and compassion.
Safeguard a sterile and safe environment while advocating for patients.
