About The Position

Assists physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, pacemaker and ICD insertions, electrophysiology procedures, and other miscellaneous procedures. Operates the physiologic/hemodynamic monitoring computer and/or scrubs for invasive cardiac and vascular procedures. Provides patient care to adult and geriatric patients.

Requirements

• One year of prior interventional experience in Cath/Radiology, or two years of prior diagnostic lab experience in Cath/Radiology, or an associate degree in a Health Science Program, or completion of an accredited Technology program (CVT/Radiology with appropriate specialization).
• ARRT certification or RCIS certification.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of four years of recent experience in an interventional cardiac cath lab.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
