About The Position

Enmarket is seeking a hands-on, motivated Assistant Manager for Golden Nozzle Car Wash. The Assistant Manager supports the Site Manager with daily operations at a high-volume car wash facility, helps maximize site performance, develops team members, and delivers an exceptional customer experience. The role involves supporting staffing and scheduling, coaching employees, maintaining a clean and safe facility, improving workflow and vehicle throughput, handling customer concerns, supporting sales and membership growth, monitoring inventory, enforcing safety and regulatory standards, and reviewing performance metrics. The Assistant Manager may lead shifts and oversee operations when the Site Manager is absent. This position requires flexible availability based on operational needs, including the ability to work up to 50 hours per week and additional hours as needed. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required, and at least one weekend day must be worked. Physical demands include lifting, carrying, and holding up to 50 pounds; working outdoors in temperatures from -10°F to 100°F; and standing, walking, and moving around vehicles for extended periods. The role is based at a car wash facility and requires maintaining the physical condition, safety, cleanliness, and appearance of the facilities.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Be able to work up to 50 hours per week, with additional hours as business needs require.
Have flexible availability to cover shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
Work at least one weekend day.
Have open availability based on Golden Nozzle’s operational needs.
Be able to lift, carry, and hold up to 50 pounds.
Be able to work outdoors in temperatures ranging from -10°F to 100°F.
Be able to stand, walk, and move around vehicles for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Assist with supervising daily site operations, including staffing support, scheduling assistance, coaching, and performance feedback.
Help ensure the facility, equipment, and grounds are clean, safe, and fully operational.
Support workflow and vehicle-throughput improvements to minimize wait times and improve the customer experience.
Address customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally.
Assist with sales initiatives and membership-growth strategies to drive revenue and customer retention.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering and restocking of chemicals, parts, and operational supplies.
Enforce company safety procedures and regulatory compliance standards.
Support review of operational reports, KPIs, and performance metrics to improve site performance.
Partner with the Site Manager to execute site-specific goals and business initiatives.
Help resolve employee and customer concerns to maintain a positive, productive environment.
Lead shifts and oversee operations in the Site Manager’s absence when needed.
Maintain the physical condition, safety, cleanliness, and overall appearance of store facilities.
