About The Position

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Car Detailer to prepare rental vehicles for customers. This outdoor role involves cleaning and inspecting vehicles and helping ensure they are safe, reliable, and ready for the next rental. No experience is necessary; on-the-job training is provided. The position requires regular on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely. The role is based in South Burlington, Vermont, United States.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Attention to detail and pride in producing clean, high-quality work.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in a moderate noise level.
• Flexibility to work all shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and continuously stand, walk, bend, enter and exit vehicles, and drive a variety of vehicles.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Wash, vacuum, and sanitize vehicle interiors; remove trash and prepare vehicles for the next rental.
• Refuel vehicles and check fluid levels and tire pressure.
• Inspect vehicles for auto body damage and monitor dashboard warning indicators.
• Move, park, and organize vehicles across airport lots as needed.
• Help ensure vehicles are clean, safe, reliable, and ready for customers.
