Capital Equipment Procurement Leader

PTS Advance•Huntsville, AL

About The Position

The Capital Equipment Procurement Leader buys owner-furnished capital equipment for Project Huntsville, a greenfield cGMP active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) campus in Huntsville, Alabama. The position owns equipment packages from RFQ through purchase order, fabrication, delivery, and turnover, executing the procurement work in SAP and SAP Ariba. The role is responsible for the agitated filter dryer (AFD) and process super skid packages and is the commercial point of contact for equipment vendors; only the project owner is authorized to commit to suppliers. The role's initial priority is the long-lead program, including power transformers, medium-voltage switchgear and cable, AFDs, process skids, and structural steel. It works closely with engineering, project controls, quality, commissioning/qualification/validation (CQV), construction, the project's design and EPCM partners, and the Owner's Representative. The position is remote until the plant is built, then relocates to Huntsville, Alabama.
