This position is open until filled; however, to ensure consideration applications should be submitted by June 1, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. King County Housing Authority is currently seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Capital Construction Coordinator. In this position, you will serve as the liaison between the Capital Construction and Property Management teams, overseeing all aspects of a portfolio of construction projects from inception to completion. Two positions may be filled through this recruitment process. As a key member of the Project Team, you will be involved from project initiation through development and completion. Your responsibilities include monitoring construction sites and contractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications, budgets, and safety regulations, and maintaining the standards set forth in the project contract. A critical component of this role is enforcing compliance with the contractor’s onsite Safety Plan and safeguarding residents during projects that require occupied sites. You may also be called upon to perform constructability reviews both within and outside the Project Team. The ideal candidate will possess practical, hands-on experience in the construction field/trades, the ability to analyze, review, and interpret building construction plans and specifications, and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
