The Office of Development serves as the primary fundraising and stewardship arm of the Catholic Diocese of Arlington, collaborating with the bishop, diocesan staff, pastors, parishioners, and community members to enhance financial support for the Diocese and its affiliated entities, including parishes, schools, Catholic Charities, the Catholic Foundation of Arlington, and the Diocese of Arlington Scholarship Foundation. The Office provides professional fundraising activities and support to meet operational, capital, and programmatic needs. The Campaign Coordinator provides essential administrative, operational, and logistical support for a major diocesan capital campaign. In this role, the Coordinator advances the mission of the Diocese by supporting the faithful stewardship of resources entrusted by the community—resources that fund transformative investments in vocations, Catholic education, parish vitality, and evangelization. This is a long-term assignment that is expected to last for at least three years, spanning three interconnected phases: a feasibility and planning study period, a leadership gifts solicitation period, and a broad participation campaign period. Throughout all phases, the Campaign Coordinator ensures that every donor encounter, gift record, and campaign communication reflects the excellence worthy of the mission it supports.
