About The Position

The Company B2Gold is a responsible international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, the Goose Project under construction in northern Canada, and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, Colombia and Finland. Position Coordinator, Capital Projects, Nunavut Location and Reporting Structure Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position will be a fly in- fly out 3x3 rotation based in Nunavut, Canada.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of experience supporting capital projects in mining, heavy industrial, construction, or energy environments, with demonstrated experience working at active and/or remote industrial or mine sites preferred.
  • Post Secondary Diploma in Business Administration, Management or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and experience with project management or ERP systems considered an asset.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Certificate, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) designation would be an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support the full lifecycle of capital projects, from initiation and planning through construction, commissioning, and closeout, ensuring alignment with approved scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Maintain effective project controls, including tracking schedules, milestones, costs, risks, and changes; supporting forecasting, variance analysis, and change management activities.
  • Coordinate contractors and consultants, including site access, orientations, logistics, tendering support, bid evaluations, and contract administration to ensure timely and compliant execution.
  • Act as a key liaison across stakeholders, facilitating communication and coordination between project teams, operations, maintenance, HSE, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Ensure safety, regulatory, and environmental compliance, supporting contractor pre-qualification, safety documentation, inspections, meetings, and incident follow-up while promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Maintain project documentation and reporting, including status reports, meeting minutes, cost tracking, and closeout packages, while supporting continuous improvement of project processes.
