JARS Cannabis Trimmer
About The Position
JARS Cannabis is seeking an experienced Cannabis Trimmer to work in its cultivation center in Tolleson. The role involves hand trimming cannabis flowers to meet the company’s quality standards while maintaining a minimum production rate of 2 pounds per day. The trimmer will perform quality checks, follow standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements, coordinate with the cultivation team, maintain a clean work area, and develop knowledge of cannabis strains and their trimming requirements. The schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 6/7 AM to 2:30/3:30 PM, at $17 per hour. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and pass standard and fingerprint background checks. Requirements
- At least 1 year of hands-on cannabis-trimming experience in a commercial cultivation setting.
- Ability to hand trim at least 2 pounds of cannabis per day with precision and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with and commitment to compliance with state cannabis-cultivation regulations.
- Ability to collaborate with a diverse team and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
- Flexibility to adjust to changes in trimming methods, strains, and production schedules.
- Consistent attendance and reliability.
- At least 21 years old.
- Must pass a standard background check and a fingerprint background check.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate trimming schedules and collaborate with the cultivation team.
- Keep work areas clean and organized in accordance with sanitation and hygiene guidelines.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of cannabis strains, their characteristics, and their trimming requirements.
