About The Position

JARS Cannabis is seeking an experienced Cannabis Trimmer to work in its cultivation center and help maintain the company’s quality standards. The role focuses on precise, efficient hand trimming of cannabis flowers, quality control, and compliance with standard operating procedures and applicable state regulations. The schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 6/7 AM to 2:30/3:30 PM, and pay is $17 per hour. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and pass standard and fingerprint background checks.

Requirements

At least 1 year of hands-on cannabis trimming experience in a commercial cultivation setting.
Demonstrated ability to hand trim a minimum of 2 pounds of cannabis per day with precision and attention to detail.
Familiarity with and commitment to compliance with state cannabis cultivation regulations.
Ability to collaborate with a diverse team and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
Flexibility to adjust to changing trimming methods, strains, and production schedules.
Genuine interest in the cannabis industry and commitment to high-quality products.
Consistent attendance and reliability.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must pass a standard background check and fingerprint background check.

Responsibilities

Hand trim cannabis flowers to meet JARS Cannabis quality standards.
Hand trim at least 2 pounds of cannabis per day while maintaining quality.
Perform quality control checks and remove imperfections.
Follow trimming standard operating procedures and regulatory standards.
Coordinate trimming schedules and collaborate with the cultivation team.
Keep work areas clean and organized in accordance with sanitation and hygiene guidelines.
Develop and maintain knowledge of cannabis strains, their characteristics, and trimming requirements.
