Cannabis Cultivation Support
About The Position
Trimmr LLC is seeking hands-on cannabis cultivation support staff for the fall harvest season, working with licensed operators. This is a full-time seasonal position with flexible hours, offering up to 52 hours per week through October and possibly into November. Employees will earn W-2 wages, build industry experience, and gain a work record that can lead to future opportunities. The role involves various tasks in cultivation and post-harvest processes, including planting, weeding, harvesting, hand trimming, bucking, and packaging, as well as following farm SOPs and maintaining cleanliness and quality standards. Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors, and candidates should be comfortable with strong scents, varying weather conditions, and being on their feet for extended periods.
Requirements
- Must be 21+ years of age (NYS OCM requirement)
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S. (provide valid I-9 documentation)
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable with flexible gig work
- Reliable transportation to various local farm and processing sites
- Able to stand or work on your feet throughout the shift
- Able to perform repetitive and strenuous motions
- Able to crouch and bend
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Comfortable working indoors/outdoors around strong scents and varying weather
