About The Position

Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for temporary Cannabis Cultivation Assistants to work in their facility about a 20-30 minute drive North of Bay City, MI. You should be eager to be a part of a thriving Cannabis company. You have a positive attitude, work ethic and are very attentive to details. This is a great opportunity if you're looking to get your foot in the door of an exciting cannabis company, as top performers have the opportunity to be hired on permanent.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Eligible to work for a licensed Cannabis company in the State of Michigan.
Ability to stand, sit, climb, twist, and kneel up to 8 hours/day.
Ability to perform repetitive motions with your hands.
Ability to work in climates with varying temperatures.
Attention to detail.
Willingness to take direction.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
Proven work ethic and reliable transportation.
Ability to arrive on time.
Willingness to comply with OSHA regulations.
Ability to wear a N95 mask while around cannabis product.
Ability to be around plant pollen for an 8-hour period of time.
Ability to sit, stand, kneel, twist AND lift plants and equipment up to 50 pounds for extended periods of time.

2+ months of cannabis cultivation experience.

Responsibilities

Assisting Head Growers and Assistant Growers with a variety of tasks with the cannabis plants in an indoor grow environment.
Manicuring cannabis plants.
Monitoring cannabis plants.
Pruning cannabis plants.
Watering cannabis plants.
Planting cannabis plants.
Trimming cannabis plants.
Ensuring cleanliness and efficiency of the production area.
Applying nutrients (opportunity to learn).
Pest management methodologies (opportunity to learn).
