Campus Security Officer
About The Position
The Campus Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring and patrolling assigned locations. The officer preserves order by enforcing site regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the area, and may provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. Officers observe and report activities and incidents to help protect client property and personnel. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. Retail, food service, or hospitality experience may be a good fit. The position pays $16.50 per hour and requires weekend availability.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
- Be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Weekend availability is required.
Nice To Haves
- Security experience is preferred but not required.
- Retail, food service, or hospitality industry experience is considered a good fit.
