About The Position

The Campus Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring premises and patrolling assigned locations, including parking lots. The role includes observing and reporting activities and incidents, preserving order, and enforcing client-site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. Officers may issue parking tickets and frequently provide customer service and information to clients’ employees and customers. The position requires passing a drug screen and background check and meeting applicable security officer licensing requirements. The posting states that no experience is necessary and that training will be provided.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to complete patrols.
• Strong technology skills, including use of a cell phone and computer.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers or guards.
