About The Position
The Campus Security Monitor position at Spring Valley High School is a 9-month role with 7 hours per day. This role requires candidates to have a high school education or equivalent and experience working with children and youth. Selected candidates must complete CCSD Campus Security Monitor training, which includes online modules, a physical agility test, and defensive tactics training. Maintaining the certificate is required for the duration of the assignment. A valid driver's license or state-issued ID, and current CPR/AED certification are also necessary.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.).
- Experience working with children and youth.
- Valid driver's license or state-issued identification card.
- Current CPR/AED certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or similar organization (certification must be in-person with a hands-on component and maintained for the duration of the assignment).
- Must complete CCSD Campus Security Monitor training prior to start date.
- Must maintain CCSD Campus Security Monitor certificate for the duration of the assignment.
