About The Position
The Campus Security Monitor is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment on school grounds. This role involves monitoring campus activity, responding to incidents, and ensuring adherence to school policies. Selected candidates will undergo mandatory training, including online modules, a physical agility test, and defensive tactics training, and must maintain their certification throughout their assignment.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.).
- Experience working with children and youth.
- Valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or other similar organization (certification must be maintained and training must be in-person with a hands-on component).
- Current Clark County School District Campus Security Monitor certificate (must be maintained).
