About The Position

The Campus Security Monitor is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment on school grounds. This role involves monitoring campus activity, responding to incidents, and ensuring adherence to school policies. Selected candidates will undergo specific training, including online modules, a physical agility test, and defensive tactics training, and must maintain their certification.

Requirements

High school graduation or equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.).
Experience working with children and youth.
Must complete CCSD Campus Security Monitor training prior to start date.
Must maintain Campus Security Monitor certificate for the duration of the assignment.
Possess a valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card.
Possess a current CPR/AED certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or other similar organization.
CPR/AED certification must be maintained for the duration of the assignment.
CPR/AED certification training must be in person and include a hands-on component.
High school transcript or other equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.) required at time of application.
Copy of a valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card required at time of application.
Copy of the front and back of the CPR/AED certification must be uploaded into the application.
Current CCSD Campus Security Monitor Certificate, if already in possession, required at time of application.
Specific documented evidence of training and experience to satisfy qualifications required at time of application.
