About The Position

This position is responsible for monitoring campus activities to ensure a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. The Campus Security Monitor will observe and report any suspicious activities, enforce campus policies, and respond to emergencies as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
• Good observation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of security procedures and protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a school environment.
• First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor campus grounds and buildings to ensure safety and security.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential security threats.
• Enforce campus policies and regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and provide assistance as required.
• Conduct regular patrols of campus areas.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized activities.
• Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues.
• Assist with visitor access control.
• Collaborate with school staff and local law enforcement when necessary.
