About The Position
The Campus Security Monitor position is a 9-month assignment with 7-hour workdays. Candidates selected for this role will be required to complete CCSD Campus Security Monitor training, which includes online modules, a physical agility test, and a full-day defensive tactics training. Successful trainees must maintain their certification for the duration of the assignment.
Requirements
- High school graduation or other equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.).
- Experience working with children and youth.
- A valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card.
- Current CPR/AED certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or other similar organization (certification must be maintained, training must be in person with a hands-on component).
- High school transcript or other equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.) uploaded at time of application.
- Copy of a valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card uploaded at time of application.
- Copy of the front and back of the CPR/AED certification uploaded at time of application.
- Specific documented evidence of training and experience to satisfy qualifications uploaded at time of application.
Nice To Haves
- Current Clark County School District Campus Security Monitor certificate, if already acquired.
