About The Position

This position performs a wide variety of routine and non-routine duties, some of which may be of a confidential nature, including administrative and clerical functions necessary to support the operation of the whole Campus ministry.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate the ability to manipulate Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and Publisher.
  • Must have excellent editing skills.
  • Ability to communicate in a concise and effective manner.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • Ability to handle moderate stress.
  • Three (3) years of clerical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up with administrative needs as directed by the Campus Pastor and local staff.
  • Support local campus needs through ordering supplies, answering phones, composing letters, editing documents, and scheduling meetings.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of all ministry events and managing the campus calendar.
  • Assist the Campus Pastor in all aspects of local Hospitality Ministry (parking, ushers, welcome team, baptism, next steps, café, and media center) and managing the scheduling of these team using Planning Center.
  • Assist the Campus Pastor in carrying out Liberty’s Missions strategy.
  • Make campus-specific purchases (food for events and other supplies that are not ordered at a central level).
  • Inventory and organize all campus storage closets and supplies.
  • Assist the Campus Pastor in carrying out Liberty’s Missions strategy at the campus.
  • Demonstrate a Christ-like attitude in performing all work to honor our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
  • Faithfully maintain discretion and effectively deal with sensitive and/or confidential information of a written and spoken nature.
  • Use independent judgment to determine work priorities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Campus Pastor.
  • Is a loyal staff member by cooperating with and following the leadership of the church.
  • Follow Liberty’s policies and procedures.
  • Work in coordination with the overall mission, goals and objectives of the church which are summarized by the mission statement “Changing Lives, Communities and the World for Jesus Christ”.
