  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics from an accredited university.
  • At least 7 years of experience in powertrain systems engineering, including at least one complete program development and launch cycle.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle systems, controls, and software development processes.
  • Experience with calibration tool suites, including ETAS/INCA, MATLAB, Simulink, and Canalyzer.
  • Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and dyno testing platforms.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and root-cause identification using functional models.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead a team of peers.
  • Conflict and crisis management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 10 years of experience in powertrain systems engineering, including multiple program development and launch cycles.
  • Familiarity with Stellantis internal processes and standards.
  • Knowledge of statistics and statistical methods.
  • Knowledge of the dyno environment and related tools, such as Puma, Cameo, Indicom, and Concerto.
  • Experience with MATLAB scripting and other useful data-processing languages or tool sets, such as Python, JavaScript/NodeJS, PowerApps, and PowerBI.
  • An “AI Native” approach to work-stream efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the PCAL single system owner for propulsion system calibration execution.
  • Manage the propulsion system calibration and validation schedule.
  • Ensure system-level feature and calibration delivery for NVH, fuel economy, performance, efficiency, drivability, and capability.
  • Manage calibration release maturity and safety release readiness.
  • Lead PCAL cross-functional integration and releases, including powercube validation and release across PRS modules.
  • Coordinate releases with various modules.
  • Lead issue resolution from initial triage through permanent resolution and own PCAL issue management.
  • Represent PCAL in program and management forums.
  • Lead system status synthesis for quality gates, DVP, and software content.
  • Support and manage management ride-and-drive activities for PCAL.
  • Plan and optimize PRS resources, including system HIL, dyno, and vehicles.
  • Broker vehicle usage across PCAL.
  • Support mule builds and vehicle propulsion system integration.
  • Organize test trips, AVL drives, and validation campaigns.
  • Coordinate software validation and PVPC/SWX interfaces.
  • Ensure emissions, safety (PD12 and UN156), and process compliance.
  • Support plant industrialization activities.
  • Lead running-change documentation through closure.
  • Lead management and resolution planning for PCAL aftermarket quality issues.
