About The Position

The Cafe Production Team Member prepares and serves food and beverage items and caters meetings and other business functions. The role supports fresh, sufficient product availability, food safety, guest service, and a clean and safe café, kitchen, storage, and event environment. The team member communicates work activities and disruptions to a supervisor and follows company rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

ServSafe certification is required post hire.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent certification preferred.
Prior food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and assemble food and beverage items.
Anticipate production levels, provide fresh food, and maintain sufficient product quantities; prepare appropriate quantities for meetings or events as determined by the Café General Manager.
Ensure products are available and fresh and uphold food safety standards.
Set up and break down workstations and catering events, maintaining an organized and clean work area.
Deliver quality service to every guest and assist guests with self-checkout procedures.
Clean, sanitize, and organize café, kitchen, and storage areas; contribute to the safety, maintenance, and cleaning of meeting rooms or conference areas.
Maintain a safe work environment for guests and team members.
Inform the supervisor about work activities and disruptions, including product availability, equipment malfunctions, and working conditions.
Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose and ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level.
Ensure activities comply with applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Complete other duties as assigned.
