Cafe Associate, part-time
About The Position
The Café Associate works in a senior living community’s café and main dining room, preparing food and drinks and providing friendly service to residents and their guests. The role includes taking orders, preparing items such as salads, soups, and sandwiches, preparing hot and cold drinks, and maintaining clean, organized dining and service areas. When the café is closed, the associate serves residents in the main dining room. This is a part-time position scheduled for 20 hours per week. Possible shifts, which may vary, are Monday 9 a.m.–2 p.m., Thursday 7 a.m.–2 p.m., Friday 9 a.m.–2 p.m., and every other weekend from 6 a.m.–11 a.m. or 6 a.m.–2 p.m.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

- Experience preparing sandwiches, salads, drinks, and other food in a food-service setting.
- Serving experience in a restaurant or senior living setting.
