About The Position

Pennoni is a multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm that works on challenges across areas such as land development and energy management. The firm helps communities and private-sector clients integrate technological solutions into resilient and sustainable planning. The CADD Technician processes survey data, conducts deed research and plotting, prepares survey plats, drawings, and legal descriptions, and provides office and quality-control support. The role also supports project schedules and productivity objectives.

Requirements

• Associate degree, or a high school diploma/GED with equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years of work experience.
• Computer skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent computer and technical skills, including Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in technical math, including geometry and trigonometry.
• Strong listening, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and a team-player attitude.

• Team-player and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process survey data daily, including evaluating its accuracy and sufficiency.
• Perform deed research, deed plotting, and map checks.
• Prepare survey plats, drawings, and legal descriptions.
• Provide office support.
• Perform quality-control checks of plats and drawings.
• Ensure schedules and productivity objectives are achieved.
