About The Position

HDR is hiring a Bridge CADD Technician to support its Transportation Business Group, which works on transportation systems and infrastructure, including highways, bridges, transit, rail, aviation, ports, and marine infrastructure. The role performs discipline-specific drafting assignments under the direct supervision of an Architect/Engineer or other technical professional. The technician prepares engineering design drawings and related graphic materials using computer-aided design software, and may perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Associate or technical school degree, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
• Knowledge of standard CAD software, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts, workflows, and deliverables.
• Commitment to actively participating in HDR's employee-owned culture.

Nice To Haves

• LADOTD bridge experience with MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Perform discipline-specific drafting assignments using standardized drawing techniques under the direct supervision of an Architect/Engineer or other technical professional.
• Prepare drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided design software.
• Perform other duties as needed.
