About The Position

Dewberry is seeking a responsible, highly motivated, and detail-oriented CADD Technician to join its transportation design department in the Fairfax, Virginia office. The technician will work in a team environment with drafters, designers, and professional engineers to prepare drawings for roadway, transportation, and infrastructure projects. The role requires preparing exhibits and drawings using Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer, and developing CAD drawings with minimal supervision. Dewberry is a professional services firm with more than 60 locations and 2,500 professionals nationwide.

Requirements

• Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Attention to detail and quality while working efficiently.
• Ability to multitask across multiple projects.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to pass a driving record background check.
• One year of engineering drafting experience is preferred.
• Dewberry will not sponsor a new applicant for work authorization.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with GIS, Civil3D, AutoCAD, Inroads, 3D modeling, or other drafting software.
• One year of engineering drafting experience.
