About The Position
Dewberry is seeking a responsible, highly motivated, and detail-oriented CADD Technician for its transportation design department in the Fairfax, Virginia office. The position works in a team environment with drafters, designers, and professional engineers on roadway, transportation, and infrastructure projects. The technician prepares exhibits and drawings using Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer and develops CAD drawings with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Attention to detail and quality while working efficiently.
- Ability to multitask across multiple projects.
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to pass a driving-record background check.
Nice To Haves
- One year of engineering drafting experience is preferred.
- Experience with GIS, Civil3D, AutoCAD, Inroads, 3D modeling, or other drafting software.
