This role is designed for individuals with a strong foundation in AutoCAD and a basic understanding of CNC programming, offering a chance to learn, grow, and gain practical experience in a dynamic manufacturing setting. The company specializes in die-cutting, water jet cutting, laser cutting, and CNC machining to produce high-quality custom components. Requirements
- 6+ months of relevant experience OR technical school training
- High school diploma or GED
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and CAM software
- Basic understanding of CNC machines and machining processes
- Good math skills (algebra, geometry, measurements)
- Team player with solid communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assist with programming CNC equipment using G-Code
- Use CAD software to prepare technical drawings and part layouts
- Convert AutoCAD files into CAM-ready formats
- Collaborate with machinists and engineers to refine programs for production efficiency
- Support setup observation and help troubleshoot new programs
