About The Position

This is an entry-level, Level 1 helper role supporting cable and equipment installation at a data center. The employer is seeking a trainable, dependable person with a strong work ethic and positive attitude; prior telecom experience is not essential. The role involves physically demanding work, including 10-hour days outdoors in heat and cold, and requires working on ladders and lifts. There is potential for long-term growth and leadership opportunities. The position is contract-to-hire, with possible conversion to a Vision Technology employee when headcount becomes available; conversion and any pay increase are not guaranteed while working under contract. The stated pay is $20 per hour.

Requirements

• Experience working in a physically demanding environment, such as construction, trades, the military, or similar.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Reliable attendance history and dependability.
• Ability to work 10-hour days outdoors in heat and cold.
• Ability to work on ladders and lifts.
• Honesty and reliability.

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on electrical or military experience is highly valued.
• A desire to grow with the organization and potentially take on leadership responsibilities.
• Skills or experience in construction, attention to detail, general labor, safety, OSHA 10, scissor lifts, installation, low voltage, or cable pulling.

Responsibilities

• Pull and route cabling throughout the data center.
• Assemble, stack, and drill racks.
• Scan, label, and port equipment.
• Support general installation tasks as directed by experienced technicians.
