About The Position

The Cabinet Field Finisher helps transform kitchens and baths in luxury homes around the greater Charlotte area. The role includes preparing and finishing custom cabinet parts and assemblies, matching paints and stains to approved samples, and performing finishing work both in the shop and at job sites. The finisher confirms product quality before the product moves to Upfit. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Starting pay is $25–$28 per hour depending on experience, with a quarterly bonus program.

Requirements

Experience mixing, spraying, and staining industrial, solvent-based finishes.
Working understanding of custom cabinet parts and construction.
Ability to see subtle color differences.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.
Reliability and punctuality; the crew depends on the employee showing up on time every day.

Responsibilities

Interpret shop drawings.
Mix paints and stains to match approved color samples.
Spray Milesi 2K polyurethane paint to create a high-quality paint finish.
Apply wipe-on stains and spray clear coat to create a high-quality stain finish.
Perform painting and staining at job sites.
Prepare parts and assemblies for finishing as needed.
Confirm product quality before moving product to Upfit.
