About The Position

Meadowland Farmers Coop is seeking a part-time C-Store Clerk/Cashier at its Sacred Heart Convenience Store in Sacred Heart, Minnesota. The position supports the location team by providing customer service and administrative support to the store and its customers. The role includes handling sales transactions, maintaining store cleanliness, stocking merchandise, monitoring inventory, and following workplace safety and security practices.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong basic math skills for counting cash and making change.
Comfort working with the general public.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced convenience store environment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Helpful and friendly approach.
Adherence to company dress policies.
Dependability and reliability.
Ability to follow the posted work schedule.
Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and Motor Vehicle Record check.

Responsibilities

Greet customers, answer inquiries, and handle issues and complaints in a friendly and helpful manner.
Accurately process cash, credit card, and debit card sales, including fuel purchases and lottery sales.
Clean checkout stations, food service stations, and restrooms; sweep and mop; and empty trash bins.
Restock and arrange shelves, coolers, displays, and racks.
Monitor inventory for damage and loss.
Balance the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift.
Follow workplace and food safety, health, environmental, and security policies and practices.
