About The Position
The C-Store Cashier provides customer service and helps ensure guests have a positive shopping experience. The role includes greeting customers, handling point-of-sale transactions, maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the store and gas pumps, stocking merchandise, and supporting team members. The cashier should be dependable, communicate effectively, work well under pressure, multitask, and maintain a positive attitude. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis, are required. The position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks at once.

- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis.
- Provide any work cards required by the jurisdiction before the start date.
- Valid Health Card.
- Valid Alcohol Awareness Card.
- Ability to read and interpret English-language documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written English communication may also be required.
- Ability to apply common-sense understanding to instructions and resolve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 lbs.
- Ability to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.
