About The Position

As a Cashier, you are the face of the store, providing exceptional customer service and helping every guest have a positive shopping experience. The role involves greeting customers, assisting with retail sales, and accurately handling point-of-sale transactions. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, customer-focused, communicates effectively, works well under pressure, and brings a positive attitude and commitment to teamwork and service. Candidates must be able to multitask, remain composed in a fast-paced environment, and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis.

The position has no supervisory responsibilities. The work environment typically has a moderate noise level. Physical demands include standing for long periods and being able to lift up to 45 pounds, stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance. Valid Health and Alcohol Awareness Cards are required. Any work cards required by the jurisdiction must be provided before the start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and greet all customers.
• Maintain the store's appearance, ensuring it is clean, neat, organized, and welcoming.
• Accurately process customer transactions at the point of sale (POS).
• Stock and clean the store.
• Maintain the cleanliness and management of the gas pumps and the store's exterior appearance.
• Support team members and promote a positive team environment.
