About The Position

The C-Store Cashier provides customer service and handles point-of-sale transactions to create a positive shopping experience. The role includes greeting customers, maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the store and gas pumps, stocking merchandise, and supporting team members. The position requires multitasking, effective communication, and composure in a fast-paced environment. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis, are required. The role has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis.
• Provide jurisdiction-required work cards before the start date.
• Valid Health Card.
• Valid Alcohol Awareness Card.
• Ability to read and interpret documents in English, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written English communication may also be required.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions and address problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 lbs.
• Ability to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.

• Previous point-of-sale experience, retail sales, gas station attendant, or customer service experience.
