About The Position

The C-Store Cashier provides customer service and helps ensure guests have a positive shopping experience. The role includes greeting customers, handling point-of-sale transactions, maintaining the store’s appearance, stocking and cleaning, and keeping the gas pumps and exterior clean and managed. The cashier supports team members and contributes to a positive team environment. Candidates should be dependable, customer-focused, able to communicate effectively, manage multiple tasks, and remain composed in a fast-paced environment. Flexible availability is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis. The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written English communication may also be required.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 lbs.
• Ability to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance from others.

Nice To Haves

• Previous point-of-sale experience, retail sales, gas station attendant, or customer service experience is a plus.
