Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Buyer or Procurement Analyst.
- Proficiency in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and SAP systems.
- Expertise in bid package preparation, proposal analysis, and supplier negotiations.
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with airframe or aerospace procurement.
- Experience managing subcontract modifications and compliance.
- Advanced knowledge of supplier evaluation and cost analysis.
Responsibilities
- Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms for specialized materials, equipment, and services.
- Prepare and manage bid packages, conduct bidders’ conferences, and evaluate supplier proposals.
- Negotiate subcontract provisions, select and recommend subcontractors, and administer awards.
- Oversee procurement of airframe detail parts and assemblies using MRP and SAP systems.
- Source and purchase machinery, equipment, tools, raw materials, and services critical to business operations.
- Compile and analyze statistical data to evaluate procurement feasibility and establish price objectives.
- Monitor price trends and manufacturing processes to inform procurement strategies.
- Analyze supplier operations, negotiate best prices, and ensure quality and reliability standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external departments and customers to support operational needs.
- Ensure timely order follow-up, delivery verification, payment approval, and record maintenance.
- Participate in developing procurement policies and procedures.
