About The Position

Whirlpool is seeking a Senior Buyer (Senior Analyst) for its Global Strategic Sourcing organization. Based in Benton Harbor, Michigan, the role manages daily procurement operations, leads productivity or Engineering and Technology projects, and supports supplier relationships to achieve cost, quality, and delivery performance. The position is responsible for all requests for quotation (RFQs) for Whirlpool Mexico.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 4 years of experience in Procurement or Manufacturing.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Supply Chain.
• Understanding of Supply Chain, supplier management, and sourcing principles.
• Demonstrated project, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Analytical and computer-related skills, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage suppliers to improve cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Execute or support supply agreements.
• Lead cross-functional teams to execute Engineering and Technology projects.
• Identify and lead cost-reduction efforts.
• Support monthly forecast activities.
• Lead or support supply operations risks.
• Manage all RFQs for Whirlpool Mexico.
