About The Position

T1 Energy is hiring a Junior Procurement Buyer to handle the tactical and operational work that keeps its solar supply chain moving. This hands-on role is suited to someone early in their procurement career who can bring precision, follow-through, and strong administrative discipline to a high-volume manufacturing operation. The buyer will manage purchase order execution, ERP data integrity, shipment tracking, and invoice reconciliation across the renewables portfolio, supporting a rapidly scaling solar company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, an engineering discipline, or equivalent experience in solar procurement.
• 1–3 years of direct experience in manufacturing procurement, logistics operations, or project purchasing.
• Foundational knowledge of ERP workflows.
• Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data sorting.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and process discipline.
• Clear and reliable communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and dependable in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

• Basic familiarity with renewable energy technologies or the core components of a solar PV layout is heavily preferred.
• Eagerness to learn the solar supply chain and grow in the field.

Responsibilities

• Issue, execute, and track standard purchase orders for PV cells, modules, and component-level systems up to $15 million under pre-vetted pricing frameworks.
• Monitor daily international and domestic freight statuses and work with port agents and logistics coordinators to identify potential delivery delays.
• Maintain accurate corporate ERP data, including material prices, lead times, and arrival windows, with daily updates.
• Audit and reconcile physical receipts and Bills of Lading against supplier invoices and original purchase order terms using three-way matching before submitting to Accounts Payable.
• Serve as the primary contact for routine communications with Tier-1 and Tier-2 supplier account managers regarding shipping schedules and material documentation.
