About The Position
Terravita Golf & Country Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, is hiring a part-time Busser. The role supports dining-room and lounge service in a fast-paced hospitality environment as part of Troon, a global golf and community management company. The Busser keeps service materials and workstations ready, assists servers, helps ensure food is delivered according to ticket specifications, attends to guests’ tables, and cleans and resets the dining area. The listed duties are not exhaustive, and the associate may be asked to perform other job functions from time to time.
Responsibilities
- Ensure materials used by servers are clean and ready for daily operation.
- Know the position of each diner’s chair in the dining rooms and lounges.
- Organize plates in the service window and match them with tickets before running food to tables.
- Ensure each menu item matches the details on its ticket; address discrepancies with the chef before delivery.
- Fill and refill guests’ water glasses and remove unused place settings.
- Clear dishes in front of guests after each course.
- Clear and reset tables after guests leave, including changing tablecloths, brushing chairs, positioning chairs, and replacing silverware, glassware, and napkins.
- Assist servers as needed.
- Keep workstations stocked with items and ingredients.
- Clean workstations, take out trash, and vacuum the dining room.
