About The Position

Keke's Breakfast Cafe is hiring a Busser for its Boca Raton location. The Busser clears and cleans tables, handles used tableware, supports servers and hosts, responds to guest requests, and helps keep front-of-house areas clean. The role requires availability from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day, including holidays. Full-time applicants must consider Keke's their primary place of employment.

Requirements

No previous restaurant experience is required.
Able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop.
Able to stand for long periods, up to six hours.
Must be available from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day, including holidays.
Full-time applicants must consider Keke's their primary place of employment.
Must have dark blue jeans, a black belt, and black non-slip shoes on the first day of work.
No visible tattoos when wearing a short-sleeve polo shirt.

Responsibilities

Remove used tableware as guests finish using it and clear tables after guests leave.
Take tableware to bus bins and place silverware, dishes, glassware, and other items in the appropriate areas for washing.
Between seatings, promptly clean tabletops, chairs, and booths; check and clean floors as needed; and clean windows and seat cracks.
Inspect restrooms every 30 minutes and clean them as needed.
Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate requests to the server as needed.
Coordinate with servers and the hostess to support efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service.
Assist servers with plate removal as needed, especially for large parties and during peak periods.
Keep all front-of-house areas clean, including floors around trash cans and walkways.
Thank guests as they leave.
Fill in as needed to support smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
