About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Chef, the Busser assists servers with serving food, filling drinks, cleaning tables and workspaces, and stocking work areas while maintaining a friendly, professional manner. The listed duties are illustrative and not all-inclusive. The role has no supervision responsibilities and is performed in a casino restaurant setting.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and obtain and maintain an Osage Nation gaming license.
Must provide documents demonstrating eligibility to work in the United States.
Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English and read company or departmental reports, newsletters, and documents.
Must protect confidential company information and perform assigned tasks under frequent supervision, following written and verbal instructions.
Must establish and maintain positive relationships with managers, coworkers, guests, and the public, and work independently or as part of a team.
Must communicate information and suggestions orally and in writing, prepare documents, and complete reports as required.
Must exercise reasonable judgment, seek guidance when appropriate, and respond to inquiries or complaints.
Must maintain the physical condition and stamina needed for assigned duties.
Must be able to stand for extensive periods, walk, sit, use hands to handle objects and controls, and stoop, kneel, crawl, balance, or crouch.
Must be able to reach and lift above the shoulders, lift up to 25 pounds, and drag, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Must have normal auditory ability, good verbal communication, the specified vision abilities, and the ability to endure heights.
Must be able to work nights and weekends; evening and weekend shifts, extended hours, and irregular shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

Provide courteous and considerate service to internal and external guests, and cooperate with fellow employees while maintaining a positive, helpful attitude.
Stay informed about company communications and share concerns, information, and improvement ideas with the supervisor through the chain of command.
Observe and report unsafe behavior displayed by internal or external guests.
Prepare the dining room by setting tables and stocking necessary supplies.
Maintain table settings by removing finished courses and replenishing utensils.
Refill drinks and assist wait staff with food delivery and retrieving needed supplies.
Maintain a clean and sanitary bussing station.
Carry soiled dishes to the dishwasher and help ensure clean dishes, flatware, glasses, straws, napkins, and other dining materials are available.
Maintain working relationships that support regulatory compliance and perform duties in accordance with company values, policies, applicable laws, and gaming regulations.
Perform other related and compatible duties as assigned.
