About The Position

Imperial is a Tulsa-based company providing traditional vending, micro markets, catering, corporate dining, and coffee services. The Merchandiser supports customer service by selecting and delivering appropriate merchandise to client locations, managing inventory and orders, and optimizing product mix and route efficiency. The position is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is full-time, and has a day shift with workdays Monday through Friday. The listed hourly salary range is $18.00–$20.00. The role involves analyzing points of sale to minimize spoilage and maximize sales; driving a company vehicle to deliver products such as beverages, snacks, pastries, and sandwiches; and using a handheld computer to take inventory and place orders. The Merchandiser works independently, interacts directly with customers, and handles packaged food items intended for public consumption. Physical activities include lifting and loading products, walking, sitting, bending, reaching overhead, stooping, and using stairs. Daily travel to customer sites is required in all weather conditions.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record acceptable to the insurance carrier.
Ability and willingness to travel daily to client or customer sites in all weather conditions while driving a company vehicle.
Ability to work well with people and independently.
Flexibility.
Basic computer skills.

At least one year of relevant work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze points of sale to determine appropriate merchandise and minimize spoilage while maximizing sales.
Use data to optimize product mix and route efficiency.
Drive a company vehicle and deliver products, including beverages, snacks, pastries, and sandwiches.
Lift and load products onto and off the vehicle, both with and without assistance.
Use a handheld computer to take inventory and order products.
Work independently and provide World Class customer service.
Handle packaged food items intended for public consumption.
Travel daily to and from client or customer sites.
