About The Position

Imperial is seeking a Merchandiser for its Tulsa operation. The role supports the company’s vending, micro market, catering, corporate dining, and coffee services by delivering World Class Service and maintaining strong customer relationships. The position is well suited to candidates with convenience store, retail, or grocery store experience. Working Monday through Friday, the Merchandiser reviews point-of-sale data to help select merchandise, reduce spoilage, and increase sales. The role involves driving a company vehicle to customer sites, delivering products, managing inventory and orders with a handheld computer, and working independently while providing customer service. The position also requires handling packaged food items intended for public consumption and performing physical tasks such as lifting, loading, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, using stairs, and driving.

Requirements

Have a safe driving record acceptable to the insurance carrier and a valid driver's license.
Be willing to travel daily to and from client or customer sites in all weather conditions while driving a company vehicle.
Be able to work well with people and independently.
Have flexibility.
Have basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of relevant work experience is preferred.
Convenience store experience.
Retail or grocery store experience.

Responsibilities

Analyze points of sale to determine appropriate merchandise and help minimize spoilage while maximizing sales.
Use data to optimize product mix and route efficiency.
Drive a company vehicle and deliver products, including beverages, snacks, pastries, and sandwiches.
Lift and load products on and off the vehicle, with or without assistance.
Use a handheld computer to take inventory and order products.
Work independently and provide World Class customer service.
Have direct contact with packaged food items intended for public consumption.
