About The Position

The Busser, known as Table Support at Eataly, communicates with and assists food servers to maintain efficient service and create a memorable guest experience. The position reports to the Restaurant Assistant General Manager and maintains cleanliness and sanitation throughout the front of house, including tables, chairs, floors, dining areas, and service stations. The Busser supports guests and service staff by serving beverages, bread, and olive oil; clearing and resetting tables; and following the department’s standard steps of service. This is a seasonal position expected to last three months or through the first week of January 2027, with potential for long-term employment depending on business needs, performance, and availability.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience as a busser in a high-volume restaurant.
Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule, often including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to maintain well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of front-of-house tables, chairs, floors, dining areas, and service stations.
Pour and refill beverages requested by guests, including tap water, bottled water, juice, and sodas.
Serve and replenish bread and olive oil when requested by guests.
Communicate with hosts and servers to maintain efficient service and guest satisfaction.
Remove dirty dishes and silverware from guest tables between courses and after guests leave.
Clear tables and bring used dishes, silverware, and glassware to designated areas in the service station.
Replace used dishes and silverware for the next course and reset vacated tables.
Follow all standard steps of service as instructed by the department.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
