BUSSER (PART TIME)
About The Position
Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring a part-time Busser at The Huntington Library in San Marino, California. The role sets and clears restaurant tables, stocks service stations, and assists food servers with table service. Days and hours may vary, and open availability is preferred. Previous full-service restaurant experience is required. The pay range is $16.90 to $18.00 per hour. The position involves clearing and resetting tables, keeping dining and service areas stocked and clean, serving beverages, bread, and butter, assisting with food and beverage service, and transporting dirty tableware to the dishwashing area. The Busser also performs assigned cleaning and side work and may help with guest requests, spills, greeting, and seating. Bon Appétit and Compass Group are equal opportunity employers. Requirements
- Previous full-service restaurant experience is required.

Responsibilities
- Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare tables for resetting; promptly reset serviceware as prescribed.
- Maintain the stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods, including silverware, linen, and condiments.
- Wipe down booths and chairs, move tables and chairs, and clean floors as necessary.
- Serve guests beverages, bread, and butter, replenish them as necessary, and assist servers with food and beverage service.
- Transport dirty tableware from the dining room to the dishwashing area.
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by a supervisor.
- Fold napkins throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply.
- Perform assigned side work, including replenishing condiments and restocking side stands.
- Perform other assigned duties, such as cleaning unexpected spills, handling special guest requests, and greeting and seating guests.
