Busser (Part Time)
About The Position
Wolfgang Puck Catering is hiring a part-time Busser at Space Center Houston in Houston, Texas. The Busser sets and clears restaurant tables, stocks service stations, and assists food servers with table service. The role includes promptly clearing and resetting tables; maintaining clean, stocked stations; serving beverages, bread, and butter; transporting dirty tableware to the dishwashing area; folding napkins; and completing assigned side work and general cleaning. The Busser may also respond to spills and special guest requests and help greet and seat guests. Days and hours may vary, with details provided during the interview. The pay range is $14.00 to $15.00 per hour. Previous food service experience is preferred, and training is available.
Requirements
- Previous food service experience is preferred; the employer is willing to train.
- Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Follow applicable Company safety procedures, including use of required protective gloves, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.

Responsibilities
- Quickly clear dirty table settings and promptly reset tables with the prescribed serviceware.
- Maintain the stock and cleanliness of service stations for all meal periods, including necessary silverware, linen, and condiments.
- Wipe down booths and chairs, move tables and chairs, and clean floors as necessary.
- Serve guests beverages, bread, and butter, replenish items as needed, and assist servers with food and beverage service.
- Transport dirty tableware from the dining room to the dishwashing area.
- Perform general cleaning tasks assigned by a supervisor using standard cleaning products.
- Fold napkins throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply.
- Complete assigned side work, including replenishing condiments and restocking side stands.
- Perform other assigned duties, including cleaning unexpected spills, handling special guest requests, and greeting and seating guests.
- Follow Company policies and procedures, including required protective equipment and safe lifting practices.
