About The Position

Bussers help ensure Sweet Waters at Valley River Inn is clean, welcoming, and ready to provide guests with an exceptional dining experience. The role supports quick table turns and smooth restaurant operations by resetting tables, assisting guests, supporting servers and managers, and keeping dining and service areas organized and stocked. A high level of hospitality is expected. The position involves working during busy service periods and may include opening and closing tasks.

Requirements

• Current State Food Handler’s License.
• Ability to transport 30 lb. and remain in contact motion during the shift.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables efficiently between guest visits.
• Refill water, bread, and condiments as needed.
• Assist servers with food delivery and table service.
• Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including floors, chairs, and service stations.
• Dispose of trash and handle dishware according to health and safety standards.
• Support the team during peak periods to ensure smooth operations.
• Set up dining areas before service, including table settings, chairs, and condiments.
• Monitor and restock service stations with supplies such as napkins, silverware, and glasses.
• Assist with restaurant cleaning, including sweeping and mopping floors.
• Help manage guest requests and respond promptly to instructions from hosts, servers, or managers.
• Support opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and organizing dining areas.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during busy periods.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
