About The Position

The Busser at Sweet Waters on the River supports restaurant operations and helps deliver an exceptional dining experience. The role focuses on keeping the restaurant clean, organized, and well stocked, turning tables efficiently, and providing attentive hospitality to guests. Bussers directly support servers and managers with table service, cleaning, setup, and other tasks that help the restaurant run smoothly.

Requirements

• Current State Food Handler’s License.
• Ability to transport 30 lb. and be in constant motion during the shift.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables efficiently between guest visits.
• Refill water, bread, and condiments as needed.
• Assist servers with food delivery and table service.
• Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including floors, chairs, and service stations.
• Dispose of trash and handle dishware according to health and safety standards.
• Support the team during peak periods to ensure smooth operations.
• Set up dining areas before service, including table settings, chairs, and condiments.
• Monitor and restock service stations with supplies such as napkins, silverware, and glasses.
• Assist with restaurant cleaning, including sweeping and mopping floors.
• Help manage guest requests and respond promptly to instructions from hosts, servers, or managers.
• Support opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and organizing dining areas.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during busy periods.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
