About The Position

The Busser supports the restaurant's dining experience by clearing dishes and glassware, cleaning and resetting tables between guests, maintaining a clean and inviting dining area, replenishing service areas, and assisting waitstaff. The role may also include helping with dishwashing. Work is performed under direct supervision; the employee handles basic issues and refers more complex matters to higher-level staff. The position requires beginning to working knowledge of the subject matter.

Requirements

• Typically requires a high school diploma.
• Typically requires 0 to 2 years of experience.
• Clerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Clear dishes and glassware while guests are dining.
• Clean and reset tables between guests.
• Keep the dining area clean and inviting.
• Refill service areas and assist waitstaff as needed.
• Occasionally assist with dishwashing duties.
