About The Position

The Mimosa House is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Busser to join its morning team. This role supports front-of-house operations during busy breakfast and brunch hours by keeping the dining room moving and ensuring tables are cleared, sanitized, and reset promptly so arriving guests can be seated without delay. The role involves working at a fast pace in a bustling morning environment and collaborating with the restaurant team. Full-time or part-time schedules are available, with early morning to early afternoon hours, such as 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Weekend availability is required, particularly Saturday and Sunday.

Requirements

• Ability to maintain a fast, efficient pace in a high-volume morning environment.
• Strong team-player mentality and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays or tubs weighing up to 30–40 lbs for the duration of a 6-to-8-hour shift.
• Reliable transportation for early morning shift starts.

Nice To Haves

• Previous restaurant experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clear dirty dishes, glassware, silverware, and trash from tables after guests depart.
• Clean and sanitize tabletops, chairs, and booths, then reset tables according to restaurant standards with menus, condiments, and rolled silverware.
• Support servers by refilling water, pre-bussing plates between courses, and delivering coffee refills when needed.
• Keep the dining floor clean and free of debris by promptly sweeping up spills and messes.
• Stock busser stations with clean linens, silverware, and glassware, and help transport tubs of dirty dishes to the dishwashing area.
• Greet guests warmly and direct specific requests or questions to their server.
